Anse Takamaka
The beach below Raffles Seychelles on Praslin's north-east coast, open to the public via a beach promenade. The resort clears seaweed regularly, there is shade, and the shoreline lies on the Curieuse Marine National Park boundary.
The beach
Anse Takamaka sits on Praslin's north-east coast beside Anse Boudin, with Raffles Seychelles climbing the hillside behind it. The resort gives Anse Takamaka as its address. OpenStreetMap also marks a second bay called Anse Takamaka on Praslin's south coast, so check which one a description means.
Access
seychelles.cc says the beach is open to the public despite the resort and can be reached along a beach promenade. Sunbeds and parasols are for hotel guests.
In the water
seychelles.cc describes it as a good beach for swimming and relaxing, with plenty of shade. As the resort's house beach it is regularly cleared of seaweed.
Marine park
The coast of Anse Takamaka is named in the boundary of the Curieuse Marine National Park, whose regulations prohibit taking or disturbing marine animals and shells or removing sand.
Walks
SeyVillas says Raffles maintains the Pasquière trail, which splits near the hotel and climbs over the hills to Grand Anse in about 90 minutes one way.

Getting there
