Hideaway Holiday Apartments is a small family-run property on the beachfront at Anse Possession, looking across to Curieuse Island and its marine park. The owners say the bay is calm and shallow, with coral reefs, and good for swimming and snorkelling.

There are five units: air-conditioned apartments with an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchenette, and an 80 m² wooden chalet with two bedrooms and a veranda facing the sea. Every unit has a washing machine.

The property is self-catering; ask the owners whether meals can be arranged. They give about three minutes' drive to Côte d'Or beach, where there are restaurants and shops.

Getting there

The owners say the local bus stops in front of the property and runs to Anse Lazio, Côte d'Or and the Baie Ste Anne jetty. Staff can arrange an airport pickup at extra cost and help with car hire.
