The beach

Anse Cimitière lies within the wider bay of Anse Bois de Rose on Praslin's south coast. SeyVillas describes a beach of about 350 m in two sections separated by rocks: one in front of Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites, popular with its guests, and another that sees far fewer people. Badamier and takamaka trees give shade.

Getting there

There is a bus stop on the road near the hotel and limited roadside parking. SeyVillas suggests checking at hotel reception whether you may use the section in front of the hotel.

In the water

An offshore coral reef shelters the bay, keeping the water calm and shallow, which SeyVillas describes as suitable for families. It also rates the beach good for snorkelling and windsurfing, with equipment for hire nearby. SeyVillas reports seaweed from May to October.

Facilities

SeyVillas says snorkelling and windsurfing gear can be rented nearby; no separate public facilities are described.
