Nid'Aigle Lodge

Nid'Aigle Lodge is a small owner-run self-catering property at Anse Consolation, the southernmost part of Praslin. The units are separate Creole-style buildings with wooden features, set in a large tropical garden with views over the sea and the hills.

There are two studios of about 32 m² for couples, one with a terrace and one with a balcony, and a much larger main house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Every unit has air conditioning and a kitchen.

The area is quiet and secluded. A bus stop is close by, but SeyVillas recommends a hire car. The Fond Ferdinand nature reserve is nearby, and the Vallée de Mai is about 15 minutes' drive.

Couples in the studios, or a family or group of up to six in the main house, who want a quiet self-catering stay in the south of Praslin.

Apartment with Terrace (about 32 m², queen-size bed) and Villa with Balcony (about 32 m², king-size bed), each a combined living and sleeping space with en-suite shower room, kitchen, fridge-freezer, washing machine and air conditioning, for two. The Main House is listed at 341 m² with three bedrooms with king-size beds, two bathrooms, a bathtub, a separate WC, a kitchen and air conditioning, for up to six. SeyVillas mentions a flat-screen TV.

SeyVillas lists wifi, luggage storage, a safe on request, a barbecue, an outdoor shower, a garden, a security system, a shared washing machine and on-site parking. Beach towels are available for a fee. Units are cleaned daily, with towels and linen changed every three days. Snorkelling and fishing are listed as activities. Languages spoken are English and French.

SeyVillas gives the distance to the sea as about 40 m and to Anse Consolation beach as about 150 m.

SeyVillas recommends a hire car for this location. The studios take guests aged 12 and over, and the main house guests aged 5 and over. There is a two-night minimum stay. SeyVillas warns that seaweed can wash up between April and June and says the property is unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility. Early arrivals can only leave luggage until check-in.
