Places to eat on Praslin cluster at Côte d'Or (Anse Volbert), the resorts at Anse Kerlan and Anse Takamaka, Grand Anse on the west coast, and Baie Ste Anne by the ferry jetty. Much of the choice is inside hotels and resorts, with independent cafés, takeaways and beach bars around the jetty and on some beaches.

Côte d'Or (Anse Volbert)

Le Duc de Praslin runs Café des Arts on the sand and Le Dauphin, a buffet restaurant. Starfish Bar & Restaurant at Acajou Beach Resort serves daytime meals and, SeyVillas says, is open to outside visitors. St Pierre Beach Restaurant, at the Paradise Sun hotel, is on the beach, and Village du Pêcheur and Les Lauriers Eco Hotel have their own restaurants. La Mer Pizzeria & Takeaway, on the Côte d'Or esplanade, sells pastries, Creole lunches and pizza.

At Anse Gouvernement, the eastern end of the bay, Hotel L'Archipel has La Gigolette on the beach and La Feuille d'Or upstairs. Cast Away Cabana sells fruit juices and cocktails on the sand.

Anse Kerlan, Anse Takamaka and the north

Constance Lemuria, on the north-west tip at Anse Kerlan, has The Legend, The Nest for Creole seafood, Diva by the golf club and Takamaka for lunch on the beach. The resort recommends booking for dinner at Diva and The Nest, and SeyVillas says non-guests must reserve at The Legend. Capricorn Restaurant, at the Islander Hotel on Anse Kerlan, serves Creole seafood.

In the north-east, Raffles Seychelles at Anse Takamaka has Losean, The Sushi Room, the Pool Restaurant & Bar and Danzil Bar & Lounge.

Away from the resorts, Mabuya Beach Restaurant at Anse Lazio, formerly Bonbon Plume, lists daily hours of 08:00 to 17:00 (tourism board listing, March 2026), and Palmier Bistro is on the beach at Anse Boudin.

Grand Anse and the south-west

Hotel restaurants at Grand Anse include Beach House at Bliss Hotel Praslin, Le Kato Noir at Palm Beach Hotel and KokoSol at Indian Ocean Lodge. Zilwa Reggae Bar is a beachside bar and restaurant serving Creole food, and the owners say local bands play at weekends. La Voi Del Mare Beach Bar at Amitié is open to the public as well as guesthouse guests, according to its tourism board listing. At Anse Bois de Rose, Coco de Mer Hotel & Black Parrot Suites has the Hibiscus Restaurant and the poolside Mango Terrace.

Baie Ste Anne and the jetty

At the jetty terminal, Hall Cuisine sells Creole food and fast food, Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 16:00 (tourism board listing, September 2025). Port Side Cafe and Steph's Catering sell snacks and coffee.

In the village, NO1 Cafe serves breakfast and crêpes and is closed on Sundays (tourism board listing, September 2025). Cool Licks is a café, bar and takeaway by the beach, Roots Juicery & Bar makes cold-pressed juices, and Food Empire at Cap Samy is a takeaway with a dining area. Above the bay on Pointe Cabris, Le Château de Feuilles serves a four-course dinner menu.

Check hours before going, and ask hotels whether they take outside diners.

Are there restaurants on the beach on Praslin?
