Resorts with pool villas

Raffles Seychelles at Anse Takamaka has 87 private pool villas and offers extras such as beach picnics served by a butler. The tourism board's 2025 luxury resorts article calls it family- and honeymooner-approved. Constance Lemuria at Anse Kerlan has villas with private pools, a spa and honeymoon and wedding packages, and the tourism board's honeymoon article names it as a romantic retreat.

Smaller hotels

For couples who prefer somewhere more intimate, the tourism board's article on hotels for couples names Le Duc de Praslin and Paradise Sun Hotel among its smaller, more intimate choices on Praslin. The tourism board describes Côte d'Or as Praslin's main beach resort, with boats to Curieuse and St Pierre leaving from the beach.

What packages include

The tourism board says honeymoon packages normally include a romantic dinner, a spa discount, cocktails and a bottle of wine. Wedding packages usually include registrar fees, a decorated arch, dinner, cake and champagne, with bouquets, photographers and hair and make-up charged separately.

Marrying on Praslin

Civil Status has an office on Praslin. Banns are published for 11 days before the wedding, or couples can apply for a marriage licence for SCR 500 to marry sooner (Immigration and Civil Status, checked 16 September 2026). The tourism board puts the civil fee at SCR 3,000 when both partners are foreigners (checked 16 September 2026), and documents from abroad must be apostilled. The tourism board's Anse Takamaka listing suggests the beach for an oceanfront wedding.

How to choose

  • Privacy: ask whether villas have their own pool and garden.
  • Setting: Lemuria is in the north-west near Anse Georgette; Raffles is at Anse Takamaka.
  • Season: UK government travel advice (checked 16 September 2026) says west coasts are generally unsafe for swimming around December to March and east coasts around May to September.
