Savy's Place

Savy's Place is a small self-catering guesthouse on the east coast of Praslin at Au Cap, in the Baie Ste Anne district. The Tourism Department register lists it as Savy's Place (Maison Pieds Dans L'Eau Beach House), and SeyVillas places it directly on a small beach.

There are two units, a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment. Both have a kitchen, a terrace or balcony with sea views, air conditioning and a safe.

The owners say the restaurants at Anse Volbert are about five minutes' drive away. They can book taxis, airport and jetty transfers, hire cars and land or boat excursions.

Couples or friends who want a quiet sea-facing self-catering base and will use a car to get around.

SeyVillas lists a 1-Bedroom Apartment of about 40 m² for two, with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, and a 2-Bedroom Apartment of about 75 m² for four, with two bedrooms, two king-size beds and two en-suite bathrooms. Both have sea views, a terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning and wifi. The owners list air conditioning, a fridge, oven, microwave, kitchen equipment, hair dryer, room safe and a private veranda or balcony.

The owners list free wifi, secure parking, daily housekeeping, linen changes every three days, bottled drinking water, a washing machine and ironing facilities. Car hire through a partner, taxis, transfers and tours are arranged for a fee, and babysitting can be arranged on request. SeyVillas also lists luggage storage, a safe, sun loungers and beach towels, but gives cleaning as every three days. Payment on site is in cash.

The owners arrange taxis, airport and jetty transfers and car hire through a partner. SeyVillas recommends hiring a car.

SeyVillas lists the apartments for adults aged 18 and over with a three-night minimum stay, but the owners' booking form asks about children, so check the age policy before booking. SeyVillas says the property is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility, warns of seaweed between August and September, and recommends a hire car.
