Kai Self Catering

Kai Self Catering is a small guesthouse in a tropical garden in La Passe, the harbour village on La Digue. The tourism board says it is close to Anse Réunion and Anse Sévère, and SeyVillas names Anse Sévère as the nearest beach. The owners are on hand during the stay.

The guest rooms are in the main building: two double rooms and a family room upstairs, with a shared living room and open-plan kitchen on the ground floor. SeyVillas also lists an air-conditioned studio apartment with its own kitchenette in a separate annex. Breakfast and dinner can be booked on site.

All have air conditioning, wifi and a TV. The tourism board's description lists the same four rooms.

SeyVillas lists wifi, a safe, a fully equipped communal kitchen, a communal washing machine and dryer, a barbecue, an outdoor shower, a garden, a communal lounge, a security system, beach towels and umbrellas, daily cleaning and towel and linen changes every two days. Laundry and bicycle rental are charged. The tourism board adds luggage storage, currency exchange, a dishwasher and round-the-clock security.

No direct beach access. SeyVillas gives a beach distance of about 300 m, while its map measures about 930 m to Anse Sévère.

SeyVillas lists cash for payment; the tourism board also lists bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard. SeyVillas says the stay is not suited to guests with reduced mobility.
