Hostellerie La Digue

Hostellerie La Digue is a small self-catering property in La Passe, La Digue's harbour village, close to the ferry jetty. SeyVillas says the bungalows were finished in 2013. There are two two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit, each with its own veranda and garden.

Each bungalow has a kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, fridge and kettle, a dining area and a seating area, with fans and air conditioning. The larger unit has a bathtub. Shops, restaurants and cafés in La Passe are a short walk away, and Anse Sévère is about fifteen minutes on foot.

SeyVillas lists families and groups as its guest types. Several units can be booked together for larger parties.

Two 2-Bedroom Chalets of about 45 m², each with two queen-size beds, two en-suite bathrooms, a separate WC, a full kitchen and a veranda; up to four guests, or six with extra beds. One 3-Bedroom Chalet of about 60 m² with three queen-size beds, two bathrooms (one with a bathtub), a full kitchen and a veranda; up to six guests, or nine with extra beds. All units have air conditioning, wifi, TV and hair dryer. A baby cot is available.

SeyVillas lists wifi, air conditioning, a safe, luggage storage, a barbecue, beach towels, an outdoor shower and a garden. Cleaning, towel and linen changes are every three or four days on request. Laundry, fishing trips, excursions and bicycle hire can be arranged for a fee. Early check-in from 06:00 is free and late check-out until 16:00 is charged, both subject to availability. Visa, Mastercard and cash in rupees, US dollars and euros are accepted.

Self-catering only. The owners greet guests with a drink on arrival. SeyVillas names Fish Trap, about 220 m away, as the nearest listed restaurant, and La Passe has restaurants, cafés, takeaways and small supermarkets.

Not on the beach. SeyVillas gives Anse Sévère as the nearest listed beach, about 1 km or fifteen minutes on foot.

SeyVillas says the property is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. SeyVillas lists cleaning, towel and linen changes every three or four days on request, which differs from its own description of daily cleaning. SeyVillas gives Anse Sévère, the nearest beach it lists, as about 1 km away.
