Island Bungalow

Island Bungalow is a small, informally run property in a tropical garden near Anse Sévère, north of La Passe. SeyVillas puts the beach about 300 metres away, two minutes by bike, and a small grocery shop about 200 metres away.

There are three units: Bungalow Orchid for up to three guests, Villa Kara for two, and Bungalow Francipagne, with three bedrooms, for up to six. Each has air conditioning, a TV, a veranda and cooking facilities. A continental breakfast with fruit and juice is served each morning, and there is a barbecue in the garden.

SeyVillas lists families, groups and solo travellers. The three-bedroom bungalow suits a family or group of up to six.

Bungalow Orchid: about 24 m², queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette with fridge, microwave and toaster, living area, garden view; up to three guests plus an infant. Bungalow Francipagne: about 48 m², three bedrooms with queen-size beds, two en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with stove and oven; up to six guests plus an infant. Villa Kara: about 20 m², double bed, en-suite bathroom, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, rice cooker and kettle, garden view; up to two guests plus an infant. The tourism board records five rooms and a capacity of ten.

SeyVillas lists wifi, a 24-hour reception, luggage storage, a waiting area, beach towels, an outdoor shower, a barbecue, a garden, daily cleaning and towel and linen changes every two days. Laundry, bicycle rental and excursions are available. The tourism board adds a children's high chair and umbrellas.

A continental breakfast with fruit and juice is served each morning (tourism board), and SeyVillas includes breakfast in its rates. The kitchens allow self-catering for other meals. SeyVillas names Le Combava, about 300 m away, as the nearest restaurant.

Anse Sévère is about 300 m away, two minutes by bike (SeyVillas). The tourism board gives Anse Patates as about 1.1 km and Anse Gaulettes as about 1.3 km away.

In the north of La Digue near Anse Sévère, in a quiet garden setting. A small grocery shop is about 200 m away (SeyVillas).

The tourism board says La Digue's harbour is less than 1 km away. Bicycles can be hired at the property.

Not beachfront. Payment is cash only, according to both the tourism board and SeyVillas. SeyVillas says the stay is not suited to guests with reduced mobility.
