Marie-France Beach Front Apartments

Marie-France Beach Front Apartments is a small, family-run property on the water at La Passe, La Digue's harbour village. SeyVillas says it was built in 2014 and sits just south of the harbour. The owners describe it as a quiet spot a few minutes' walk from the jetty, shops, banks, takeaways and bike hire.

The three apartments are on the first floor and look out towards Praslin, and the owners say the sunset can be watched from the bedrooms and terraces. Each has air conditioning, a mini fridge, microwave, TV, safe and tea and coffee facilities.

The ground floor holds the dining area, where breakfast is served and where the in-house chef cooks Seychellois dishes on request. The owners can arrange excursions, fishing and bicycle hire.

Travellers who want to be on the water and within walking distance of the jetty and village.

SeyVillas adds wifi, a barbecue, sun loungers, beach towels and an outdoor shower, with cleaning daily except Sundays and towels and linen changed every two days.

Breakfast is served in the ground-floor dining area, and SeyVillas sells stays with breakfast included. The owners say their chef cooks home-made Seychellois dishes and that dinner is available on request for an extra fee. The kitchenettes have a mini fridge and microwave, enough for light meals. Restaurants and takeaways in La Passe are a short walk away.

The building stands on the beach at La Passe. The owners say local fishermen land their catch on the sand in front. SeyVillas puts the water about 10 m away and gives Anse La Réunion as the nearest named beach, about 900 m away.

At La Passe on La Digue's west coast, just south of the harbour. The owners say the jetty and the village centre, with its restaurants, shops, bike hire, banks and takeaways, are about five minutes away, and Anse Source d'Argent can be reached on foot.

The sea in front is shallow. The owners say that suits children; SeyVillas notes it is better for relaxing than for swimming. SeyVillas lists cash (rupees, US dollars or euros) as the only payment methods and says the property is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The apartments are on the first floor.
