Fern Lodge

Fern Lodge is a one-unit holiday home at L'Union, on the west side of La Digue behind Anse Réunion. The tourism board registers it as self-catering with one unit for two guests. SeyVillas describes it as a family business, and because there is only one apartment, the garden is used by one party at a time.

The apartment is about 45 square metres. It has a living area, a kitchen, a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower room, plus a furnished veranda. SeyVillas puts Anse Réunion about 900 metres away and Anse Source d'Argent about 1.4 km, with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

SeyVillas lists it for families, honeymooners, solo travellers and budget travellers. With one apartment for two adults and a young child, it suits a couple or a very small family.

One 1-Bedroom Apartment, named Evergreen on SeyVillas: about 45 m², queen-size bed, en-suite shower room, living area, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, TV, tea and coffee facilities and a veranda. SeyVillas gives maximum occupancy as two guests plus one child under ten, with an extra bed and a baby cot available. The tourism board records one unit and a capacity of two.

SeyVillas lists wifi, air conditioning, beach towels, a barbecue, an outdoor shower and a garden, with cleaning and towel and linen changes every three days. Laundry and bicycle rental are charged. The tourism board lists free wifi, a room safe and laundry, and marks the house non-smoking.

Self-catering. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, and SeyVillas says a starter pack is provided on arrival. Breakfast can be added as a paid board option through SeyVillas. SeyVillas names Zerof Restaurant, about 600 m away, as the nearest restaurant.

No direct beach access. SeyVillas gives the beach distance as about 900 m, with Anse Réunion the nearest beach and Anse Source d'Argent about 1.4 km away.

In a quiet spot at L'Union on La Digue's west side, about 700 m from L'Union Estate according to SeyVillas. The tourism board files it under the Anse Réunion district.

SeyVillas puts the harbour at La Passe about 2.4 km away. Bicycles can be hired at the property for a fee.

Not on a beach. SeyVillas notes building work on a neighbouring property on Sundays between 10:00 and 16:00, and says the stay is not suited to guests with reduced mobility. SeyVillas sets a two-night minimum stay. SeyVillas lists cash in rupees for payment; the tourism board also lists bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard.
