The course lies inside the Constance Lémuria resort at Anse Kerlan, on Praslin's north-west tip. The resort's Tourism Board listing calls it the only 18-hole golf course in Seychelles. SeyVillas lists one other course in the country, the nine-hole Seychelles Golf Club on Mahé.

The course

Constance gives the course as 18 holes, par 70 and 5,611 metres, designed by Marc Farry and Rodney Wright. SeyVillas adds:

  • The first 12 holes wind through palms; from the 13th the course climbs into wooded hills with views
  • The 15th hole has an ocean view

Who can play

SeyVillas' golf guide says green fees are free for Constance Lémuria guests and available on request for outside players. It says tee times must be booked in advance at Lémuria. Contact Constance Lémuria to confirm whether non-guests can play and on what terms.

Equipment and dress

SeyVillas says rental sets are available and golf buggies can be hired at extra cost. Tank tops and swimwear are not allowed on the course. It suggests light, breathable clothing and a cap.

When to play

SeyVillas recommends early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. It names May to October as the drier months and March, April and November as the calmest.
