What's on offer

Several boat operators on Praslin and La Digue run private fishing trips, from bottom fishing, jigging and popping near the islands to trolling offshore for sailfish, marlin, tuna, dorado and wahoo. Most sell half-day and full-day trips, and some combine fishing with an island barbecue. Fishing is not allowed inside marine national parks: SPGA's visitor information, checked 16 September 2026, bans fishing gear, spear guns and fish traps in parks such as Curieuse and Ile Cocos.

  • One Love Fishing & Boat Charter, Grand Anse: jigging, popping, trolling, bottom fishing and big game for marlin and sailfish. Tips

Ask what the price covers. Sea Eagle includes equipment and refreshments, and AmberJack's hourly rate has a three-hour minimum. One Love says bookings can be made by phone, by email or through your hotel, which can contact its skippers directly, and Sea Eagle and Geoli take WhatsApp bookings. Published prices change, so confirm the current rate with the operator before you go.
